Family: Married Julie Beth Bryngelson, May 30, 1970; three children: Todd Harold Hilkemann, Elizabeth Sue Hilkemann Sullivan and Sara Ann Hilkemann Brinkmann.
Occupation: Retired podiatrist
Former: High school science teacher and head varsity football coach.
Member: American Podiatric Medical Association Board; Nebraska Podiatric Medical Association (legislative chairman and president, 1988-90; house of delegates member, 1982-93 and 1998-2013); Aircraft Owners and Pilots Association; foundation board, Tentmaker Youth Ministries; West Hills Church (elected elder).
