Spending Authority:Neb. Rev. Stat. 71-51,103 provides spending authority for the Nebraska Emergency Medical System Operations Fund. Spending authority for the General Fund is established each biennium in the budget bill.
Accomplishments

Since July 1, 2020:These accomplishments are provided by the Department of Health and Human Services and reflects its sole views. Provided for the recommendation of licensure of emergency care providers and Emergency Medical Service (EMS) services. Provided recommendations on all disciplinary actions. Completed a credentialing review process to successfully added community paramedic and critical care paramedic into statute. Revised Title 172 Chapter 11, 12, and 13. Completed and modified the entire Nebraska State Model Protocols and are made available to EMS providers by a phone app.
