Accomplishments
  • Since July 1, 2020:
    These accomplishments are provided by the Department of Health and Human Services and reflects its sole views. The Board reviewed and approved regulations 172 NAC 55 (Dental Office Maintenance) effective date 9152020; 172 NAC 53 (Dental Assistant Licensure) effective date 622024; 172 NAC 56 (Dental and Dental Anesthesia Licensure) effective date 622024; 172 NAC 57 (Dental Hygienist Licensure) effective date 622024; and 172 NAC 58 (Dental Faculty Licensure) effective date 622024. The board also reviewed and made recommendations on initial licensure applications, reinstatement applications, and investigational reports and addressed several practice questions. The Board made decisions on what clinical examination can be accepted for licensure (for both dental and dental hygiene) for various testing seasons.
