Purpose:Provisional Environmental Health Specialists distinguishes professionals that have passed the exam and earned the education required to be a Registered Environment Health Specialist, but do not have the experience required. Such a license allows professionals to work in this occupation to obtain the required experience, time limited to a maximum of three years, without lowering the standards required for the full license.
