Potential HarmThe last license issued at this level was in 2020. Due to changes in testing availability, technology, and application processing, this licensure level no longer serves a need, as individuals may obtain full Advanced Emergency Medical Technician licensure within the time frame it takes to get a Temporary Advanced Emergency Medical Technician license. No public harm will be realized with elimination of this license designation.
