Potential HarmIf the Emergency Medical Services Instructors were no longer licensed, certified, or regulated, it would be detrimental to the public health, safety, and welfare of Nebraska. Specifically, someone would be able to become an instructor without having the education, training and experience as an emergency care provider, registered nurse, advanced practice registered nurse, physician assistant, or physician, and may provide training and curriculum that does not match the skillsets an emergency care provider may need to practice competently in the field upon licensure. Nebraska would also no longer be compliant or eligible to participate in the EMS Personnel Licensure Interstate Compact. This would be harmful to the public.
