Accomplishments

Since July 1, 2020:Total number of licensescertificationsregistrations: 67 professional landscape architectsThe State Board of Landscape Architects is currently looking to introduce a bill during the 2025 legislative session to update the Professional Landscape Architects Act to align it with a new national standard approved in 2022. The standard updates the licensure requirements to include a number of pathways based on education and experience. It also has a pathway based solely on experience.Once statute revisions are enacted, the Board will revise Title 231, Nebraska Administrative Code (NAC), to align with the statute revisions and further define the licensure requirements under the new national standard.
