Accomplishments

Since July 1, 2016:The State Highway Commission met constituents across Nebraska, acknowledging and addressing their concerns; attended multiple meetings with citizens and business owners during the design phases of various projects; advised governor to approve the project corridor location, highway relinquishment agreement, and access control plan of S-6-4(1022), Hastings Southeast; C.N. 14086 Corridor in 2016; advised governor to approve the project corridor location, highway relinquishment agreement, and access control plan of S-30-4(1046), US-281 West, Grand Island; C.N. 41704 Corridor in 2016; advised governor to approve the project corridor location, highway relinquishment agreement, and access control plan of DPU-LIN-2-6(120), Lincoln South Beltway C.N. 12578D Corridor in 2017; advised the governor to approve the project corridor location, highway relinquishment agreement and access control plan of S-77-3(1036) Fremont Southeast Beltway; C.N. 22722 Corridor in 2018; and completed the highway naming process for the Nebraska Medal of Honor Highway in 2019.
