Accomplishments

Since July 1, 2012:The Stem Cell Research Advisory Committee awarded 18 sub-awards during July 1, 2012 June 30, 2016 averaging $438,000year. These awardees have submitted applications to the National Institutes of Health and the National Science Foundation and have received approximately $2.5 million in additional funds. They also have $6.7 million pending in funding requests. Over 40 publications (i.e., articles, manuscripts, papers) have been published or are under consideration for publication. In addition, 30 national andor international presentations relating to funding from the Nebraska stem cell research project have been presented.
