| Since July 1, 2012: | The Council on Student Attendance was created in April 2015. In the past two years the Council has reviewed attendance data submitted to the Nebraska Department of Education, has developed recommendations, guidance, and resources for school districts and local boards, collaborated with the Nebraska Association of School Boards, presented to school and district administrators, participated in a cross-agency collaborative meeting sponsored by the U.S. Department of Education, and has aligned its work with the tenets of AQuESTT. |
